Nigel McKenna – B.SC. (HONS), MRICS

One of New Zealand’s most proficient developers, Nigel McKenna has a first-class honours degree in construction economics and tertiary qualifications in construction engineering and project management. He has had vast experience with leading large and diverse teams and has overseen the development of a multitude of New Zealand’s landmarks, including the celebrated Viaduct Harbour and Beaumont Quarter. Nigel is a Chartered Surveyor and was the founding chairman for the New Zealand Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, he was Director on the Auckland Council Property Board for three years from 2008 to 2010.

 

A former Ernst & Young Property ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’, he has received in excess of 20 individual awards from the Institute of Architects and the NZ Property Council to the Ministry for the Environment.  In 2006 Nigel was awarded the Auckland City Blue Stone Award for his contribution to the city.
