Celebrating Templeton’s Achievements in 2025
22 December 2025
As we wrap up 2025 at Templeton Group, it’s worth reflecting on some of the year’s top achievements. From award-winning projects to sold-out developments and thriving new communities, 2025 has been a year of hard work, innovation, and outstanding results for our team.

Award-Winning Projects
In total, Templeton brought home four major awards in 2025 across two prestigious industry programs:
Light Box (Long Bay) – Winner of the NZIA Auckland Architecture Award (Housing – Multi Unit category) , praised for its intelligent planning, urban sensitivity, and refined architectural language. Light Box also clinched a Merit Award at the Property Council New Zealand awards, further affirming its status as a benchmark for multi-unit living in Auckland.
ABSTRACT (Karangahape Road, AKL) – Our flagship development Abstract received a coveted Excellence Award at the 35th Property Council NZ Property Industry Awards, along with a Merit Award in the Tourism category. These accolades highlight Abstract’s design excellence and the unique guest experience it brings to the city.
Kahu (Long Bay) – Our refined Kahu residential project earned a Merit Award in the Multi-Unit Residential category at the Property Council awards, underscoring the quality and community focus of this boutique coastal development.
These successes on the awards stage confirm Templeton’s status as a leading developer consistently delivering quality, design excellence, and community-focused projects . We couldn’t be prouder of our architects, construction teams, and everyone who helped bring these award-winning visions to life.
Project Completions & Sales
2025 was also a year of delivering homes and communities to our buyers across Auckland. Several key developments reached completion and saw tremendous buyer demand:
Kahu, Long Bay: A boutique collection of 42 north-facing homes was completed this year, with only a few developer-held units left after strong sales (only 4 homes remained at last count). This coastal community’s relaxed, lifestyle-focused design clearly resonated with homeowners.
Light Box, Long Bay: Our 21 architecturally designed townhouses (by Novak+Middleton) were finished and warmly received by the market – as of year-end, virtually all homes are sold (at one point, just one final townhouse remained available!). This light-filled development set a new standard for multi-unit family living and was recognised by both architects and the industry for its excellence.
Elementum, Long Bay: The Elementum apartments and townhouses – offering resort-style coastal living – were completed and are now mostly occupied. The majority of residences settled this year, with only a select few apartments still awaiting their discerning new owners.
Templeton’s vision for Long Bay has truly become a reality with Kahu, Light Box, and Elementum all coming to fruition. Our commitment to quality and livability in this area has sparked both industry recognition and strong community interest, transforming Long Bay into a vibrant, sought-after neighbourhood.
Land Development Highlights
On the master-planned communities front, 2025 delivered tremendous milestones for Templeton:
Green View (Long Bay): All 72 residential sections in our Green View subdivision sold out this year – a huge achievement. With this milestone, we’ve effectively completed all “new Long Bay” land sales, enabling 72 families to build their dream homes in this beautiful cul-de-sac community.
Warkworth Ridge: Momentum is in full swing at our Warkworth Ridge development. Approximately 85 homes have been completed to date (up from 50 by mid-year ), and another ~45 homes are currently under construction. Even more exciting – the first residents have moved in, with over a dozen families now calling Warkworth Ridge home. This 54.7-hectare master-planned community comprises 673 sections in total , backed by over $1 billion in investment, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see the neighbourhood coming to life.
Clayden’s (Warkworth): We’re gearing up to launch Clayden’s in 2026 – a major new Warkworth community featuring 151 bush-fringed residential lots across 13.1 hectares. Early interest has been phenomenal, with buyers already registering to secure their spot in this tranquil, family-friendly neighbourhood. Clayden’s will offer modern, master-planned living where nature, lifestyle, and connection come together – and it’s already shaping up to be a hit even before the official launch.
Weiti Bay: Our exclusive Weiti Bay coastal development made significant progress in 2025 and is now nearing a sell-out as well. Only 9 large seafront sections remain available for sale out of this sprawling gated estate. With its breathtaking coastal landscape and the new Penlink highway connection on the way, Weiti Bay offers a unique blend of serenity and convenience – and we’re down to the final few opportunities for owners to join this special community.
Gratitude and Looking Ahead
None of these achievements would be possible without our incredible team, partners, and supporters. To everyone who played a part in our 2025 success – our staff, project leads, architects, construction crews, consultants, sales agents, financial partners, and the wider Templeton whānau – thank you. Your dedication and hard work have been the driving force behind everything we accomplished.
As we sign off for the year, we are excited for what 2026 will bring. With new projects on the horizon and our existing communities flourishing, we plan to keep raising the bar and delivering places Kiwis love to call home.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Wishing you all a safe and happy holiday season – here’s to reaching new heights together in the New Year!
